Put a Smile On Your Face

And make the world a better place!

Earlier this year I decided to join the world in completing the #100happydays challenge! I began this journey back in March and completed it in June. So here I am, more than 100 days later, and honestly, I don't know if I could say I'm a happier person or if I fell in love during the challenge, but I can tell you this: it wasn't easy.

I try to be an optimistic and upbeat person; and generally, I am. But when you're having a crappy day, it can be hard sometimes to find the good or the happy in it. But I did it. So here it is, I searched and investigated through my instagram and pulled up all my pictures. If you already follow me, sorry you will see reapeats, if not 1. you should follow me, 2. here they are!

After these 100 days, I learned a few things.
1. There's at least one thing that makes you smile every day.
2. I take a lot of selfies
3. often, happiness is the little things.

oh happy day!

Could you be happy for 100 days straight? I know for a fact I can't have 100 good days in a row, but who's to say you can't be happy? I was originally introduced to this project by A Beautiful Mess, which is an absolutely incredible blog!

100 happy days is a project working to help us all celebrate the happy moments and not be too busy to let them slip by without being recognized. You can read everything about the project here.

I guess the ultimate question is why do this? Easy: why not? everyone deserves to be happy, and if you know what makes you happy, why not celebrate it?! It can be any of the littlest things; a good meal, a night out with friends, a good hair day. The list goes on, and I'm excited to spend the next 100 days documenting what makes me truly happy.
Plus, the website has a great list of reasons to do it:

Here's the deal
you just snap a picture, post it on whatever social media outlet you choose. I personally chose instagram, so y'all can follow the next 100 days there!! At the end of the 100 days, you have the option to get a book that is the collection of your 100 happy pictures!

So lets start doing what makes us happy, and be grateful for it!
